yes.in a tropical country wash the denim with 3 month for 1 times wash is enought.i prefer for that.im living in malaysia
Finally I did the first wash after 2,5 months. The marks were barely there. But I kinda enjoy the journey so far. Since I'm doing some work in Bali this month, I'm really considering to do a sea water soak/wash before go back to where I stay
Maybe I'm late but you might find an answer in this article here:

Unfortunately I had decided not to do the sea-wash, but continued wearing them the whole month in Bali, though. Washed it when I went back to Surabaya. Just a hand washing. Ever since I have been wearing them daily about 6 weeks now. I can say now I'm pretty satisfied with the whiskers, and the honeycomb.
I've taken some pictures. I'll post it soon. Got some problem with the internet connectivity around. Out of town this November. Nice works on your fading project. Really impressive
I do jeans laundry, in Brazil, and I strongly recommend do not wash it before two or even more (if possible) months. In my opinion do it as late as possible... The whiskers will be anatomically pressed and wrinkled to your body, such as a fingerprint.
