Levi Black 511

So I've been looking into some Black raw 511's lately, and to get my correct sizing down I went to the levi store and tried on a pair of black 511's, the washed one. Those fit great in a 31x32, but today I went to Urban Outfitters and they looked like they had a pair of black/dark dark blue 511's. When I tried those on in a 31x32, the waist was SUPER tight. I was able to button it the denim with ease, but I wasn't able to pull it down or anything. So, two questions.

1. Should I size up to 32x32 if I'm lookin to buy raw, or will they stretch out enough for me?

2. I keep running into Rigid Black and Rigid Jetty Black, what's the difference?

I'm looking to wear them to a semi-formal dance, want them looser than I'd generally wear jeans, especially around the back area. They'll be black if it matters.
