Thanks, faux, the fits not bad considering I'm a pretty slim dude, but I'll go slimmer on my next pair. Yeah no worries, there's a significant difference after the beach wash, I'll easily admit. Since they were my 1st raws and inexpensive, I wanted to have a bit of fun with them, so I followed the beach wash guide and washed the same amount. Be ready for some weird looks and to answer some curious people's questions when you do your beach wash. I definitely go my fair share. Nice to spread the word about raw denim though.

How do you like your N&F LHT? I'm nearly set on getting a pair, but need to do some more research to see if I want Slim Guy or Skinny Guy.

I really don't know what the deal with the lack of selvedge is. All the vendors I've seen, including the one I ordered them from, lists them as "nep selvedge denim" It's possible that the denim itself had selvedge, but my jeans didn't include any edge pieces. I don't cuff them, so it's pretty inconsequential, but I won't get any train tracks. Meh.

Also, I gave my 501s a coat of starch today to regain some rigidity. I'm going to try to keep them dry from now until December, when they'll hit the one year mark, and then I might give them an actual machine wash & dry.

You hit the nail on the head, skull. <-- lol unintentional pun, I swear.

I love that briefcase, which I snagged on ebay a while back. Just got from a backpacking trip through Europe and used the briefcase for my back pack. It came back looking better than going out, and since it's smaller than those typical backpacking setups, it forced me to pack light.
