Very nice indeed. If you have pics of the process, you should post them. Myself like others, I'm sure, are not familiar with leather work.

Thanks! It looks so clean with only one hole, but I think I'm going to have to put another one in there because it's not as tight as I would like.

Thanks, but unfortunately I don't have any progress pictures. It's not a very interesting process and it's surprisingly simple to do. I bought a 42" leather belt blank (mine is 1 3/4" wide), snapped in the belt buckle I had, measure to where I wanted the hole then drilled it out (a leather punch works too but I don't have one), cut the belt to length (mine is roughly 36" long and I have a 32" waist), cut the edge of the belt to make it curved, and finish the entire thing by rubbing on leather sealer.

How's this belt treating you? I've almost snagged one a couple times, but I feel like the leather is almost too thick. Tried one on and didn't get a good impression. Would live to hear some feedback.

Here's my go to belt. Unfortunately the sweet buckle is on its last legs. I believe it's pewter and the metal holding the post has become stretched out, so the post wiggles now and sits at an angle that leaves the belt less than secure. Hunting for a new buckle is my next step.

Until I find a new buckle or can get my old one repaired, I bought this from a local leather worker today. He does repairs, custom stuff and belts. The price was right, got the simple clean look I wanted and I like the little cut out on the end. Hope to get many years of use out of all this stuff.

Man, I dunno. That buckle looks like its got some serious history behind it. Any chance of getting it repaired?

Nice! Simple but it definitely has some distinctness to it.

Believe me, I don't plan to toss the buckle and would love to get it repaired. I've actually been thinking about just that recently and am going to start putting my feelers out.
