Hi there, i would like to know why washing later runs the risk of
ripping or blow outs, especially after 1 year.
Thanks!

the dirt gets into the denim and kinda acts like sand paper i believe might be wrong thou
wayward and down
Hi w3nders,
That's a good questions! My understanding is that when you don't wash your jeans small particles are left between the threads in the denim. As you move around in your jeans these particles grate over the threads, similar to a very slow acting sand paper. As this adds up over time it will eventually cause the threads to wear through, giving you ripping or blow outs.
I hope that helps!
It's because of denimmites
theyre small insects related to bed bugs that eat away at the jeans unless you drown/ wash them away
the reason why blowouts occur in the crotch area the most is because your ballsweat makes the denim extra tasty to the denimmites so naturally they eat that first
freezing Ive heard is also a good way of killing them but im not sure

LMAO denimmites... good one. But no, when you wash your denims, they soften up. Denim is a very abrasive fabric, especially when raw. The longer you stay away from washing, the more your denims rub against itself. This creates those beautiful, beautiful fades, but also increases the likelihood of blowouts or rips.
