can you say Fade Friday?
Nice
I had a pair of jeans that were big in the waist and I brought them to a tailor. He took the waist in an inch and they are my best fitting pair of jeans. If done well the procedure is not...
APC fades are consistently dope.
Wear them and don't worry. I think the best fades come when people just wear their jeans and don't worry about them too much. I put a hole in my jeans a week after I got them and I was upset at...

will do Somar
I've got a couple of pairs that I've been meaning to post pictures of. When I get some good pics I will put them up for sure.
I wore them for about 6 months. After I washed them that when I really started to see the fades come in. Not super high contrast but I like the overall color that these are heading towards
I never did say thanks to Matt, but better late than never. zeek1015 sent the jeans to me and they are awesome. Thanks again Matt and Brown Denim for these awesome jeans. When I get into fading...
Fades are looking good for a start. Just an FYI, I have a pair of 514 and mine really started to develop more after the first wash. That said, they look just about the same as yours its something...
Novega, did you use any sandpaper in the 4 months you wore those jeans or is that the natural fade? Those are intense...in a good way
Price drops.
Levis 201 was $100...now $90
Wrangler was $125...now $110
Unbranded was $50...now $40
Levis STF was $40...now $35
Im not really sure about the source of the denim. The Wranglers are made in the US and the tag say North Carolina on it so I assume they must be Cone Mills denim but I can't say for sure.
If you don't want to see the fades get something that has a dark weft (backside) and you should be pretty good to go with regards to staying dark. Club Monaco was selling a pretty nice pair made in...
I have four pairs of jeans sitting around that I need to get rid of. Too many pairs of Raws and not enough time to wear them all. My loss is your gain. Great deals on all of them. Buyer will pay...
I prefer to hang them up by the back belt loop, that way the creases in the knees stay put.
My brother just picked up a pair at ian in Seattle and they are awesome jeans. Very nice denim, great cut (roomy in the top block with a nice slim ankle), with lots of nice small attention to detail...
I vote NO also. You will want them to look dirty and have some visible fading before you should wash them. If you wash them too early you might not get the good contrast that so many covet.
They look perfect. What do you mean you washed them too early?
Nice looking fades after just 4 months. Well done. 110 degrees... that is dedication to raw denim.
That looks like a nice pair of jeans. If only they were one size up. Good luck with the sale
I have had a few pairs of raw jeans in the last 5 years or so. I have never soaked the jeans, which have all been sanforized, before wearing them. I have had some decent fades but I'm wondering if...
Try em on first and buy em tight in the waist. They usually stretch lots in the waist but not so much in the thighs and the calves though so they need to fit down there. Every pair is different so...
I recently had a pair or raw denim taken in at the waist and I am really happy with the results. They now fit me perfectly as if they were made for me. They look exactly the same from the outside...
