What is Inseam?

In relation to jeans, the inseam denotes the length of the pant’s inner leg from the crotch to the hemline.

This measurement is important as it determines whether one needs short, regular, or long trousers. Ideally, the hem of a pair of jeans will hit at the anklebone. Men’s jeans’ sizes are marked according to the length of the inseam and the waist measurement.
