Fade Friday – Cheese Denim SF-09X (15 Months, 3 Washes)

It’s that time of the week again, and this week’s Fade Friday is one for the books. Rawr Denim reader Fazlan Sani wore this pair of Cheese Denim SF-09X‘s all the way to fade glory as his go-to pair of work jeans for a little over a year with 3 washes. The name may be funny, but the fades are serious business.

This pair has achieved so much contrast that it’s practically the dark side of the moon below the knees and the light side of the moon above the knees. The honey combs are not only contrasty and well-defined, but they go every which way whipping up and down the legs. Faded to a sandy tint, their line of work is more reminiscent of a coal mine than a cubicle. And despite the trace amounts of indigo left on these jeans, there are no signs of rips nor a blowout, so they’ve still got a long life ahead of them.

If you’re a fan of fast faders and want something beyond a pair of A.P.C‘s, you’re looking at your future pair.
