Today we present to you a pair of Pure Blue Japan XX-011‘s submitted to us by Josh Hicke of Toronto, Ontario. The XX-011 are made of a 13.5 oz. denim and are actually cut from the same pattern as the Blue in Green XX-013 and now fit the same as the XX-013. Hicke wears these jeans while biking and skating, but his fades are also a result of touring the U.S. with his band for a month.
Being that he’s never washed them and has only done one soak, these jeans have faded extremely well. Hicke has a classic phone and wallet fade and although we don’t see a lot of phone fades anymore, we always appreciate a good one when it comes along. His honeycombs are dominant and even creep up to his upper thighs.
