Fade of the Day – A.P.C. Petit Standard (3 Years, 8 Soaks)

Tried, true, and often the first endeavor for budding denimheads, A.P.C. has been lauded for its minimalist aesthetic and fast fades. Shawn Petersen from Los Angeles, California has been wearing his A.P.C. Petit Standard jeans for 3 years and has resisted washing his jeans. He has, however, soaked his jeans eight times over that time period. At this point, they’re closer to being identified as a pair of off-white jeans with how little indigo is left. What’s great too are the home repairs which have added it’s own charm and character.

Keep at it, and you’ll eventually have a pair of super comfy off-white jeans. I think that qualifies as a twofer.
