Today’s fade isn’t one you’ll see on here just any day: it’s a pair of Fake Levi’s 501xx from Thailand that could give any “real” pair of raw denim a run for its money. Reader Andrew Anthony picked up this pair at the Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok in March 2014 for a meager $10. Anthony says the first time he put the jeans on, all the buttons came off and had to be replaced. Despite owning jeans from several high-end denim makers (including The Flat Head, Iron Heart, and Strike Gold) Anthony says these are among his best-fitting jeans, and he plans to pick up more for a song when he returns to Thailand.
