Vans for J.Crew Denim Sneakers

Spring is fast approaching, and for many mainstream retailers that means less denim pants and more denim everything else (little do they know, some of us wear jeans year round). One such example are these collab pairs of sneakers from Vans and J.Crew.

The denim shoe is by no means a novel creation–see Converse and New Balance–but this one uses both the warp and weft side of the denim for a kitschy two-tone effect! This also means you’ll get some contrast if you wear them with jeans instead of it looking like your pants and shoes are one weird amorphous whole. No word on the source of the denim, but since they were made in China that’s probably a safe bet. The collab comes in Vans Authentic lace-up and Slip-on designs, so fire up your Canadian Spicoli and get crocking on those feet!
