Alden for Leffot Natural Chromexcel Captoe Boots

If Epaulet has a competitor in the Alden collab game, it’s Leffot. The West Village institution has been churning out some of the best makeups from the Massachusetts bootmaker for nearly seven years now, and this latest pair of captoes maintains that same level quality.

Leffot carries many end level dress brands like John Lobb and Edward Green, so their Aldens tend to hedge on the formal side. These captoes are made of natural Chromexcel, so they will develop a very deep patina after a few years wear, are made on the liberally fitting Barrie last (size down a half) and have speed hooks and a single leather sole.

The captoes have not yet gone into production though so get in your pre-order now and the 16-24 week lead time means you’ll have them for fall.

Available for $565 ($113 deposit) at Leffot.
