Tenue de Nîmes x Trickers Spring-Summer 2015 Shoe Collection

Following up news of their upcoming in-house denim line and 2014’s collaborative leather and denim bags with Travelteq, Amsterdam’s Tenue de Nîmes recently announced a jointly made collection of Trickers leather shoes. The process kicked off between the two sides after the Dutch retailer visited the nearly 200 years-old English shoe maker a mere four months ago, and the collection itself consists of three shoes.

A modern interpretation of Tricker’s widely popular and heavy brogue Derby, the Bourton shoe, the Blue Bourton maintains many of the classic details: a bellowed tongue, storm welt, full leather lining, and Dainite rubber outsole. Where this version differs though is in the colorway. Never ones to shy away from vibrant colors (who could forget this orange and baby blue selvedge?), Tenue de Nîmes utilized an almost indigo shade of blue for the leather and combination of acorn, marron, and espresso for the outsole.

For the second and third pieces in the collection, inspiration was sought from Trickers’ Country Boot collection in developing two special, yet very different, Stow boots. In contrast to the eye-catching Blue Bourton, the All Black bears a much more subdued and unassuming aesthetic. The Acorn Antique, on the other hand, boasts an orange-like cognac shade paired with a contrasting blue, Itshide Commando outsole.

All three collaborations are stamped with golden branding on the insole, and come with additional laces and leather conditioner. For purchase details and additional information, follow these links on Tenue de Nîmes’ website: Blue Bourton, All Back Stow Boot, and Acorn Antique Stow Boot.
