Stevenson Overall Co. Spring/Summer 15 Lookbook

For the past ten years, Zip Stevenson and Atsusuke Tagaya have walked a very fine line with Stevenson Overall Co. The brand originally produced workwear in Portland, Indiana in the 1920s and 30s but relaunched under Stevenson and Tagaya’s direction in 2005.

Rather than go rote reproduction, their aim has been to produce clothing that is “nostalgic but new, modern, and universal”. An audacious goal in a space where products will make or break on the most minute of details, but they’ve been largely successful.

This latest collection for Spring/Summer adheres to that same ethos with silhouettes drawn from military, work, and casual clothing from mid-century America but in modern patterns. There’s something for everyone here–MA-1s, chore jackets, nautical stripes, ikat inspired fabrics, and more.
