After

1967 was a banner year in world history: China exploded it’s first hydrogen bomb, Apollo I exploded on the launchpad, the Supreme Court swore in its first African American Justice, Thurgood Marshall, and Levi’s introduced this version of the 505, their zip-fly jean.

Levi’s archival arm, Levi’s Vintage Clothing, has reproduced to the rivet the exact same pair of pants that they made in 1967, and our UK-based reader Reuben Kemp has put them to the test for the past year. With only one initial soak, these jeans have developed an amazing patina and high contrast fades not normally seen on LVC’s.
