Dehen x Self Edge Set-In Leather Varsity Jackets

Self Edge is known for offering some of the best denim in the world (often in exclusive collaborations), but they don’t limit themselves to a single fabric. Walk into any of their four locations and you’ll find glass cases with some of the finest and meticulously crafted leather accessories and sterling silver jewelry you’re likely to see. Heavy flannels hang from the racks and thick leather boots also find their way into the shops.

Their latest release is a collaboration with Dehen, a company that’s been knitting and sewing products for over 90 years. Well-known for making some real-deal heavyweight campus wear, Dehen produces classic garments like cardigans and stadium jackets are sewn using many of the same machines that were used at the company’s birth.

For this collaboration, Self Edge worked with Dehen to create a custom colorway and new fit in their varsity jacket. The wool used for the body is milled in the Dehen mill in Portland, Oregon and uses cowhide for the sleeves. The garment is quilt-lined with an inner pocket and is cut and sewn entirely in the Dehen factory.

Self Edge is offering the jacket in two colorways: black/charcoal, and navy/gray. Not only that, but they decided to make the black/charcoal option in a women’s fit too.

All the options are available for $635 and only at Self Edge.
