Eric Yelsma founded the Detroit Denim company about three years ago out of nothing less than a pure love for denim. With the Heritage Jean as product of Yelsma’s passion, a fellow denim head has taken it upon himself to put his pair to the test. Today’s Fade Friday features a pair that Heddels Forum user Terry had for 18 months of wear and 1 wash.
The Heritage Jean is an updated rendition of the classic straight leg 5-pocket jean. Heritage is available in two fits, Classic Cut for a slim build and Hockey Cut for a more athletic build. This pair was worn almost everyday with primary fading on high-pressure points like the thighs. Phone and wallet fades print through pockets, while a classic patina remains prominent on the honey combs and whiskers.
