Edwin Europe x Blitz Motorcycles Boot By Grenson – Just Released

A love of raw denim often breeds a love of other vintage workwear and motorcycles. The juxtaposition has been made countless times over years by countless designers, and yet it continues to be successful due to the timeless style it draws inspiration from. In this vein, Edwin Europe has continued its collaboration with Blitz Motorcycles and brought in a third party, Grenson Bootmakers, to make the stylish and functional Edwin Blitz Boot.

Overall, the silhouette of the boot is fairly sleek and minimalist, skirting the typical chunkiness of a motorcycle boot for a more fashion-forward form. The exception here is a reinforced “gear change” panel which should increase the boots durability.

A commando outsole also contributes utility along with the practicality of a goodyear welt, assuring the boot will be renewable time and again. As with any boot that utilizes chromexcel, the pull-up qualities of the leather are sure to become more beautiful with wear. Unfortunately, inquiries made to Edwin did not yield any response on what last Grenson built these on, or if it was a new last altogether.

The boot is an investment for anyone, but rest assured that with a bootmaker such as Grenson being the manufacturer, chances are slim for disappointment. What will disappoint some, however, is the fact that these are only available in Europe.
