Livid Jeans launches SS14 Made in Norway collection

Livid Jeans is at it again. During the frozen winter months in Norway they have been busy preparing for the new 2014 Spring/Summer collection.

With this latest drop, the brand presents a whole range of new products and different styles for their jeans including some exciting new fabrics.

Harold 19oz and NAVY

A couple of their denims really standout, including the new 19oz heavyweight champion Japan Heavy Selvedge. The sanforized 100% cotton fabric is woven at the Kurabo Mill in Japan and is by far the heaviest the guys at Livid have worked with. As such, they’ve kept it to a limited run of 60 pieces.

Next is their new 14oz Navy Selvedge fabric, which is rope dyed and woven in a 3×1 twill using indigo threads for both the warp and the weft. This fabric has an interesting dark blue, almost black color, which could lead to awesome fades. Like the Japan Heavy Selvedge, this fabric is also a Kurabo creation.

Both jeans are in the Made in Norway line, which means they are made-to-order and available in all their fits: Jakob Slim, Roald Tapered and Harold Straight.

The new collection also includes a range of shirts and vests, styled with the same old-world sensibility and quality as their jeans.
