Studio D’Artisan 34th Edition Christmas Model (X34) – Just Released

Studio D'Artisan 34th Christmas Model (X34)

Every year since their launch in 1979, Japanese denim specialists, Studio D’Artisan, have unveiled a limited edition anniversary denim aptly dubbed the Christmas Model. Compared to last year’s neppy release, the 34th Christmas Model (X34) utilizes a slubbier, slightly lighter 19.5 Oz. denim and maintains a much more minimalist profile.

For those interested in the finer details, various sections of the X34 are purposely constructed; including the half-lined back pockets and reinforced yoke and centre seams. In keeping with tradition too, the jean comes specially packaged and along with an exclusive, original silk-screened bandana.

Looks like a good fabric, dislike the back pocket riveting though,

    Weak compared to last year.

Love everything about these but the rivets on the back pockets. Some potential to mess up wood furniture there. I have a hard time sitting still. Last years were better.
