Left Field NYC Angus Young Shorts Indigo Chambray – Just Released

Left Field NYC Angus Young Shorts Indigo Chambray - Just ReleasedOn the heels of the release of the Railcar Fine Goods Sonny X001 Shorts, there is yet another option for those looking to stay cool in the hot summer weather.  This time the option is the Angus Young Short in Indigo Chambray for men, and it comes from Left Field NYC.

For those unfamiliar with Left Field NYC, the brand is a purveyor of made in the USA menswear that was started back in 1998.  With humble beginnings, it began in founder Christian McCann’s tiny apartments and rented lofts in Brooklyn, NY.  Having a love for antique flea markets as a kid, McCann took his family trips and turned them into the inspiration for the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail that has come to describe his products.

In contrast with Railcar‘s offering, this pair isn’t selvedge denim.  The Angus Young is cut for a slightly tailored fit (differing from last season’s version) and is made from a heavy 100% organic cotton indigo chambray from the family-owned Greenwood Mills in South Carolina.  The fabric still has the beautiful indigo hue that selvedge fans love, but offer a nice alternative for the often-brutal summer heat.

Keeping in line with the company ethos, Left Field NYC spares no details that denim-heads will love, like a chain-stitched waistband and contrast Japanese chambray pocket bags.
