retaW – Denim Fragrance

retaW Mood Denim Spray Bottle

Lets face it, we all want to look good – that’s why we spend massive amounts of money to get ourselves in pairs of denim we find attractive. Anything from Naked & Famous to Flat Head is going to set us back a pretty penny, so why not spend a little extra to keep your pair fresh and clean? We often encounter the issue of smell with our jeans as we wear them day-in and day-out to get the most aesthetically pleasing fades, an issue that happily is beginning to be solved.

One top-rated solution is retaW. Founded by Hiroshi Fujiwara and Murakami,  retaW’s - Mood* offers a unique fragrance specifically designed for denim. This liquid spray-on is an antibacterial mist designed to eliminate odors from your musty sweaty denim. Unlike febreze, this spray kills the bacteria instead of just hiding it. As an added bonus, retaW leaves the sprayed denim material with a fresh, crisp minty scent.

Offered at a slightly pricey 24.00 USD retaW’s - Mood* will deffinately be a upgrade to any home remedy you might currently have. If you have enough bills to drop on a pair of jeans, you should have enough to keep them smelling fresh and clean. Now you can wear your denim daily without worrying about what the person standing next to you on the bus is thinking you smell like.

You can buy your way to freshness at Hypebeast for $24.00

Indeed, who’d spend 24 bucks on a little can of water :p. Nice little article, but I’d rather see a review. How good is it really?

Its 24 dollar fabreeze spelled backwards.

  • Devan Prithipaul

I could really appreciate an ingredient list for this and that white and black spray. This seems kind of like snake oil/repackaged febreze which also claims to kill odor causing bacteria (thanks commercials)

Thought I’d be helpful and tell you what is in denim refresh (Mr Black) as I have some. Ingredients are: ‘Natural and biodegradable ingredients’ well that’s useful!

there are going to be people that buy this but surely if they’ve invested in a pair of raw denim then they’ll have done some research….. put them in the freezer and save yourself 24 bucks !!!

And if Fabreeze isnt your thing, I’m sure one could go to Whole Foods or similar market and get the organic version.

Nature’s Miracle from any pet store is an enzyme cleaner that is totally eco-friendly and a lot cheaper. I use it on gym clothes and my camping equipment, and it’s bar none the best option for body odors.
