Fade Friday – Naked & Famous WeirdGuy Indigo Selvedge (2 Years, No Washes)

Whether you’re a newcomer or old hand to raw denim, it’s inevitable that the name “Naked and Famous” has either come up in conversation or found it’s way into your wardrobe. The creative minds over at Naked and Famous have undeniably designed some of the most interesting jeans on the market, as well as consistently providing more traditional options that focus solely on quality materials, solid construction, and great fits at reasonable prices.

Featured on today’s Fade Friday is a pair of Naked and Famous Weird Guy Indigo Selvedge coming all the way from Tokyo, Japan. Previously showcased on N&F‘s site, these Indigo Selvedge are a fairly standard jean that boast a mid-weight (13 oz) Japanese denim, as well as an attractive tonal stitching.

These jeans were worn for two years by an employee over at a souvenir jacket shop called, “Yokosuka Jumper”. According to the individual who submitted the photos, these jeans have never been washed and all repairs were done by the owner himself.

Unfortunately there isn’t much insight as to what the jeans have gone through in the last two years. However, from the looks of how much they’ve transformed from the original raw state, it’s safe to assume that these were very well worn.
