Atelier Ladurance 2013 Lineup – Sneak Preview

Atelier Ladurance 2013 Lineup - Sneak Preview

Atelier Ladurance recently dropped a new collection of denim jeans which is shaping up to be one of their best in the last couple of years. Though this is just a sneak peek of what’s to come, we will have the exclusive preview of their full collection come Summer 2013.

With this new denim line, the French/Dutch brand prove they are still forging ahead without resting on their laurels of their past successful campaigns. The fabrics and designs used in this new collection maintain the purity and simplicity that characterize Ladurance as a premium brand.

Royston Sterling / Brutt (Dry)

The first jean from this collection is a great fusion between two of their best sellers – the Prescott Sterling and the Royston. This denim is made from a dry Japanese selvedge and comes in a cut that would appeal to people looking for a slimmer modern style. The denim is dyed to a dark indigo color and is stiff and rough to the touch at first before softening over time.

This model brings back one of the most iconic Ladurance signature conceptions since the coveted Royal Pants, the two back flap pockets.

Princeton Brutt (Dry)

This is one of the last models that Ladurance released last year, but this time they’ve updated the jean using a “supersoft” and loose Japanese broken twill with selvedge. The denim features a characteristic white undertone.

Princeton Selvedge Blue Black

This is the same Princeton cut as above, but differs in the denim – this fabric is called “Blue black coated fabric” by the manufacturers, but to be honest it looks simply like a deep dyed denim.

This is something that the die-hard fans of Atelier Ladurance have been waiting ages for, as the Darktone denim has out of production for quite a while. We can’t wait to see how this denim will fade.
