Workers Denim is a Japanese online store created about 8 years ago, but what makes them different them from a number of other online retailers is their ridiculously strong interest in Vintage American workwear.

Workers Denim can be used as a database to inform customers of America’s rich history, as they discuss not only the actual items, but also the manufacturers themselves. Workers allows you to travel back in time to when Americana was at its prime, they hold a large amount of items in their archive including photographs, posters, advertisements and, most importantly, clothing.

We must take note that most of the items shown on the website may not be “fitted” or even wearable in today’s standards but they capture a time in the history of dirt, sweat and tears. Most of the denim introduced at Workers are railroad jackets, work jackets, denim button-downs and overalls.

Many of their item show the natural intense wear of real labor living in the early 20th century. The brands they carry consist of Lee, Crown overalls, BIGYANK, Payday, Filson and Carhartt. Workers also have a large collection of rare work shoes and boots that are quite a find for any vintage enthusiast.

Workers is clearly a store that most Rawr Denim readers wouldn’t usually consider especially because their website is mostly in Japanese, but the large amount of information made available will truly give you a history lesson of American culture that usually gets overlooked. Do yourself a favor and hop over to Workers now.
