Last Friday, the raw denim and sneaker worlds collided in the best looking way possible. Asics and Ronnie Fieg, the king of the modern sneaker community, presented us with the Asics Gel Lyte III Selvedge Denim. Feig and Asics have had slew of strong releases in the past and this shoe is sure to become an instant classic amongst both the sneaker and denim community once they’ve dropped.
The entire upper of this shoe is covered by an indigo dyed selvedge denim, while the iconic Asics strips are done up in white and red leather and carry a heavy resemblance to the selvedge details that we fawn over on our favorite pairs of jeans. The shoes went on sale on Friday, December 13th from Kith NYC as well as Fieg’s own Kith NYC locations.
