Fade Friday - Flat Head x Naked & Famous x Tate + Yoko (4 Months, 1 Soak)

Earlier last year, the folks behind Naked & Famous and Unbranded opened doors to their menswear boutique, Tate + Yoko. Soon after their launch, they wasted no time in announcing their first combined collaboration with the renowned Japanese label, The Flat Head.

While the denim itself isn’t the heaviest (coming in at around 15 Oz.), it is worth a second look for its very slim fit (i.e. N&F‘s Slim Guy) coupled with The Flat Head‘s coveted unsanforized3XXX denim. This particular denim is known for its serious vertical fading as well.

Fortunately, thanks to Bahzad Trinos of the Naked & Famous team, we now have an even better understanding of the FHxNFxTY‘s evolution for this week’s Fade Friday – and after just 4 months too!

it’s a lot of fade for 4 months.. pretty sick

Fly, but wait for the rest of the jean to catch up, loose its color, the vertical fading on N&Fs leaves the threads too exposed. Ruffle up em honeycombs!

Don’t understand how it get so much fade in 4 months, mine Edwin Nashville is over 96, days of wearing, nearly a hole at the crotch (stress line rubbing with inseam), and is no where near that… -_-

He probably rubs it with something (i.e. working on his lap, or sleeping in it).

I have the same jeans. I was scratching a small food stain off and developed a fade mark in a few seconds. I wear mine pretty hard every day. I’m about 40 days in. I can see how this would be authentic fades.
