Raw Denim Accessory – Pure Blue Japan Tote Bag

Pure Blue Japan's Tote Bag

As we haven’t featured a raw denim accessory in quite some time (see Part 1 and Part 2 of our series on raw denim accessories), we thought we’d dedicate today’s article to an interesting piece – Pure Blue Japan Selvedge 5 Pockets Tote Bag.

All the essentials of a pair of Pure Blue Japan jeans are included – hidden rivets, selvedge lining, and that fine Pure Blue Japan denim. Whether or not this is an optimal use of the material is your call.  Each bag will set you back approximately $180.00USD and they are available at PBJ‘s site

Not really sure i’m feeling this. I like the idea of a record bag or rucksac made from denim but not to look like you’ve hacked up a pair of jeans to make.

Haha, no kidding. The first time I saw a bag like this was one made by The Flat Head, and I couldn’t help think it a dubious usage of a perfectly good pair of jeans…

      But that’s just me.

Yes!  Especialy when you could pick up a decent pair of jeans for the price of that bag. It looks like the result of a typical first year fashion students project. I know it sounds hursh.
