Announced two weeks ago via Unionville‘s blog, Edwin has joined forces with Stockholm-based specialty garment store, Unionville, and all-in-one retro shop, Sivletto, to collaborate on a classic denim fit – the Edwin Nashville.
This isn’t your typical collab piece either. Not only does 2011 mark Edwin‘s 50th anniversary, but this is also the first time the Japanese label has collaborated with an outside party on this particular model. We’re not sure how much flexibility was granted for this item, but it doesn’t appear too many customizations were made (which may very well be a good thing given the denim at hand!).
In order to keep with its simplicity, some of the modifications include using only a single thread type, removed white Edwin tag on back right pocket, and number marking inside the denim à la BIC pen. There are only 300 of these out there, so if you’re debating whether or not to pick up a pair, don’t wait too long - Sviletto is selling them online!
