Japanese label, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, and US denim brand, Lee, have teamed together to produce a fine collaboration denim – the custom “Holly” Original Fit Raw Denim.  Although Lee has a much lengthier history having been founded in 1889, Tokyo-based, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, is no small fry.

Led by creative director, Masafumi “Bebetan” Watanabe, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers have been making waves in Tokyo since its debut nearly eight years ago.  The two labels have worked together in the past on a few collaborative pieces as well; each standing true to Bedwin & The Heartbreakers‘ motto, “Paramount Quality”.

Following the “Holly” denim slim silhouette, this denim includes some classic details, such as Lee‘s gold stitching, red background on the backside patch, and red back pocket stitching and pocket rivets.  Meanwhile, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers‘ label stitching is vertically showcased on the front belt loop.

@george @vincent The fit is actually intentionally like that. this is a great example of anti-fit denim. The cut is meant to have a long rise with a tapered bottom. The cut originated with farmers with sheep. the fit was meant for shearers. while straddling the sheep it was important it allow movement. another example is the Imperial Shearer denim. Search it up.
